Pasta with Uncooked Tomato and Olive Sauce

 

Great for large crowds!

4 Pounds of cavatappi, rotini or other spiral-shaped pasta

8 ounces of fresh basil

2 cups of oil

1 cup of vinegar

10 cloves of garlic

2 tbsp of salt

black pepper

Crush together the basil, oil, vinegar, garlic and salt

dice 12 tomatoes

black olives halved (optional)

and add to mixture

Cook pasta and drain the water

Pour pasta immediately into sauce and mix

Optional: add mozzarella cheese cubes or parmesan
