Letter from the Directors

Chabad of Los Feliz welcomes people from all backgrounds and of all ages, in a non-judgmental and warm environment. We provide educational opportunities and social services to accommodate all those that are within our reach and who reach out to us.

In 1998, we started Chabad of Greater Los Feliz, out of our home, ultimately we purchased a spacious new building enabling us to initiate a myriad of programs. But there is so much more to come,  we have a vision of a truly great, all-encompassing community. One that is continuously growing, expanding, gaining momentum and changing pace along with the generations within it. 

Chabad of Greater Los Feliz has grand plans, to build a new, bigger building, to accommodate a more spacious Synagogue, a preschool, a multimedia center, a state of the art Mikva and a unique hospitality center, providing food and lodging to families and patients from local hospitals. A hub of services and community bonding, a source of caring and extending and welcoming others. A building that unifies the many Jewish people in this area and truly creates a familial feeling and sense of belonging for everyone, from old to young and all that lies in between. 

We want every Jew in our reach to have a place in our community. That means you and you, and even you. Our new building will ensure that we can accept everyone in the most effective way possible and reach every single heart.
